The organizations and companies that will exhibit, advertise and/or sponsor special activities at StatPhys27 are:

Cambridge University Press dates from 1534 and is part of the University of Cambridge. The mission of CUP is to unlock people's potential with the best learning and research solutions. CUP supports its customers through continually improved content, experiences and care. CUP has over 50 offices around the globe and distributes its products to nearly every country in the world. CUP is exhibiting at StatPhys27.

IOP Publishing is a society-owned scientific publisher, providing impact, recognition and value for the scientific community. Wholly owned by the UK Institute of Physics, we work closely with researchers, academics, and partners worldwide to produce academic journals, ebooks, conference series, and digital products, covering the latest and best research in the physical sciences and beyond. IOP Publishing is exhibiting at StatPhys27 and sponsoring two poster prizes.

The DFG is the self-governing organization for science and research in Germany. It serves all branches of science and the humanities. In organizational terms, the DFG is an association under private law. Its membership consists of German research universities, non-university research institutions, scientific associations and the Academies of Science and the Humanities. To globally network and promote excellent research in Germany, the DFG is active at various international levels. In this regard, the DFG actively participates in international research policy as a politically independent funding organization. DFG is exhibiting at StatPhys27 and sponsoring a special activity.

The American Physical Society (APS) is a nonprofit membership organization working to advance and diffuse the knowledge of physics through its outstanding research journals, scientific meetings, and education, outreach, advocacy, and international activities. APS represents over 55,000 members, including physicists in academia, national laboratories, and industry in the United States and throughout the world. Society offices are located in College Park, MD (Headquarters), Ridge, NY, and Washington, D.C. APS is sponsoring a special activity at StatPhys27.

EDP Sciences is an academic publisher owned by learned societies with over 100 years experience of publishing scientific journals, conference proceedings, books and magazines. EDP Sciences, the publishing partner of the scientific communities, was founded in 1920 as "La Société du Journal de Physique et Le Radium". EDP Sciences is dedicated to publishing high quality research and content in the fields of: Physics, Astrophysics, Humanities, Mathematics, Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences and Medicine. Today, EDP Sciences publishes scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. All EDP Sciences journals have an online version and some are also available as printed versions. EDP Sciences is sponsoring four poster prizes.

Chaos, Solitons & Fractals and its open access mirror, Chaos, Solitons & Fractals: X, are scientific journals that cover the interdisciplinary field of Nonlinear Science. Both journals are published by Elsevier . Articles in the journals address the fundamentals of the following subjects: dynamics; non-equilibrium processes in physics; complex matter and networks; computational biology; fluctuations and random processes; self-organization; social phenomena; technology. Chaos, Solitons & Fractals is exhibiting at StatPhys27.

Entropy (ISSN 1099-4300, IF 2.419) is an open access journal which maintains a rigorous and fast peer-review system with a median publication time of 44 days from submission to publication online. It is published monthly by MDPI Entropy is exhibiting at StatPhys27 and sponsoring the Women in Physics networking session.

The Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment (JSTAT) is an international, peer-reviewed, online-only journal created by the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and the Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP Publishing). SISSA Medialab is in charge of the peer review of submissions, while IOP Publishing is in charge of the online publication of articles and subscriptions.

Springer is a leading global scientific, technical and medical portfolio, providing researchers in academia, scientific institutions and corporate R\&D departments with quality content through innovative information, products and services. Across its wide portfolio of journals, it covers the full range of research disciplines. It is the publisher of the Journal of Statistical Physics, a leading journal in the area of statistical mechanics as well as in related fields concerned with collective phenomena in physical systems.

SPONSORED ACTIVITIES

During the lunch time of Monday July 8th and Wednesday July 10th there will be special activities sponsored, respectively, by APS and DFG. Both activities will take place in Auditorio San Agustin (Santa Maria Building), just by the space where the posters will be exhibited. About 120 seats will be available for people to participate in them. Attendants can enter this room with lunch boxes. On Monday, lunch boxes will be freely available to all StatPhys27 participants. On Wednesday, lunch boxes will be provided to those participants that are registered for the sponsored session. People interested in taking part of the Wednesday session will have to sign up. Information on how to do it will be provided soon.

Sponsored Activity 1: "Meet the Editors of the Physical Review Journals"

Monday July 8th, 13:15-14:15. Auditorio San Agustin.

Seven editors of Physical Review journals (PRE, PRL, and PRX) present at StatPhys27 will welcome you. After a brief presentation of their journals, including the new Physical Review Research, they will answer all your questions and will be happy to discuss your comments and suggestions.

Sponsored Activity 2: "The German Research Foundation"

Wednesday July 8th, 13:30-14:30. Auditorio San Agustin.

Special Activity: "Women in Physics Networking"

Wednesday July 8th, 19:00-20:30. Auditorio Juan Pablo II & Sala de Lectura.

We will have beverages and snacks during this informal gathering thanks to the sponsorship of Journal Entropy.
